The Top Ten Best Clubs in Vienna
Here are our top 10 tips for the best clubs in Vienna:
- Volksgarten:
Probably one of the most famous clubs in Vienna. This is your go-to option if you’re already older (you have to be 21 to get in) and if you are looking for a nicer and slightly fancier club night. In terms of music you’ll find anything from Pop to House or Disco music. - Passage:
Another classic in Vienna with the benefit that it’s open to everyone who’s 18 or older. It’s also a nicer and a bit fancier club which also means that the drinks a more on the pricy side. However, you’ll get cool Pop and House music in return and a fun party night for sure. - U4:
U4 is probably the most famous Disco and Oldies club in Vienna. Although the theme switches every evening, they tend to rather play classics from the 80s and 90s, some Disco Pop and a lot of throwback music. You’ll get in from 18 onwards and it definitely makes for a fun party night for everyone. - Flex:
Flex is THE location in Vienna if you like Drum and Bass. It’s definitely not a fancy club and you have to be a real DnB fan to go there, but if you are, this is the perfect location for you. A nice benefit is that it is open for everyone age 16 and onwards and that it has a nice chill-out lounge right next to it that is perfect if you ever get tired of partying. - O Club:
This is a really cool new add-on to the party landscape in Vienna. It was newly opened around 2 years ago and houses 5 different floors, playing anything from good old Disco hits, to modern EDM. They host different theme nights, so if you’re looking for something specific, make sure to check out their website. - Praterdome
A really cool club, right in the middle of the famous Viennese Prater. It has loads of different floors, playing anything from Pop, to Hip-Hop and even Austrian Schlager if you’re into that. They are open for anyone who’s 18 or older and it’s definitely a club worth checking out if you haven’t been there. - Gnadenlos
This is not actually a club, but rather a bar which means the entry is free (who doesn’t love that?). However, the whole downstairs area is a massive dance floor which means it pretty much feels like a club nonetheless. You can find great party hits here, some good old classical and a few modern songs. The average age tends to be a bit higher than in our other tips, but hey, it’s free. And, one of the biggest benefits, you can get in even if you’re only 16 years old. - VIP
VIP sits right in the middle of Prater and is THE go-to option if you’re looking for a cool Hip-Hop night. You have to be 18 to get in and definitely need to like Hip-Hop, but if you do, this is the perfect place for you and makes for a great party night. - Grelle Forelle
This is the go-to club for all the Techno fans among you. Don’t expect any mainstream or pop music here, but you’ll definitely be able to find cool House and Techno music on the two dance floors that Grelle Forelle offers. Just pay attention to the fact that you have to be 21 to get in. - Fluc Wanne
Another suggestion for all those Techno fans among you. Fluc Wanna is also open to people age 18 and up, and hosts many cool Techno artists. It’s a really cool location since the upstairs area hosts a nice café while the downstairs area has a lot of space for all the fun party events.
