Every year, Rathausplatz hosts an outdoor music festival. It‘s free, you can get really nice food and enjoy recorded performances of some of the most famous operas on cinema-like screens.

Theater im Park is an amazing open air theater right next to Belvedere. They focus more on comedy shows than regular theater, so this is perfect for you if you’re into standup comedy.
The tickets are quite pricey, but it’s such a nice atmosphere – they have drinks, food and blankets so it’s perfect for spending a whole summer evening there.
Oper im Steinbruch
Oper im Steinbruch is an open air opera in Burgenland. Yes, it’s a bit annoying to get there, but it’s definitely worth it!
They perform a different opera every year, and the stage design and atmosphere is just incredible. Again, regular tickets are quite pricey, but you can follow our tips here to get tickets for just 20€. What a bargain!
Usus am Wasser Events
Now this is a slightly different suggestion. Usus am Wasser is actually a restaurant, but they host a bunch of different outdoor events in the summer. It’s especially perfect for you if you’re into clubbing as most of the events are party related.
The atmosphere is really nice, it’s right next to the Danube and makes for the perfect summer evening.
