Glacis Beisl
Glacis Beisl is a really nice restaurant hidden behind Museumsquartier. It’s a beautiful green spot right in the city center where you can enjoy the perfect summer drink – as well as really good food.

Santos
Santos is an amazing Mexican restaurant in Vienna. But what many people don’t know: They serve incredible cocktails as well. There are two locations and both of them have a nice outside area where you can enjoy your favourite summer drink.
And if you get hungry, just order some of their many good dishes! One pro tip: Santos is always quite busy. To secure yourself a table, make sure to book a table beforehand.
Die Allee
Die Allee is a BBQ restaurant located right inside the Prater park. That means: it’s surrounded by plenty of greenery. Sipping your favourite drink among the trees is the perfect thing to do in the summer and you can really enjoy a nice summer evening at Die Allee.
Again, they have really nice food you can get once you get hungry. And if you prefer something sweet, there is an ice cream parlour right next to it!
Klyo
Klyo is a restaurant located in Urania. They are well know for their amazing breakfast and delicious dinner – but we had to put them on our list. That is because they are located right at Donaukanal and the view is just so relaxing when you’re sipping your favourite summer drink.
Their terrace is not too big so the vibe is really cozy and relaxed. But definitely make sure to book a table to save yourself a spot on the terrace.
Strandbar Herrmann
Strandbar Herrmann is a well-known highlight in Vienna. It’s also right along Donaukanal (actually just next to Klyo) and you instantly feel like on vacation there. The main reason for that is that most of the outdoors area is covered in sand to remind you of your last vacation at the beach.
They also have amazing events going on every now and then (like a silent disco night) so you can even combine your favourite summer drink with a fun party night.
